Our own worst enemies are ourselves, but in the eyes of the world it's the place of freedom. The home of the brave and fighters of liberty: America. In every way the world is right. America has put on a "fake face" to show it's own country, but those around it know it's true and only real face. Disceit, greed, shams, and only a home of a face for thieves. The U.S/America on multiple accounts has just slipped a few of it's real colors to the public but more importantly, rival countries. In such incidents the U.S has aggravated and pushed other countries to defend their rightful land, in this case it was Mexico. A territory dispute brought upon a war and ended in the U.S buying Mexico's land for basically nothing. U.S has also been horrifyingly violent towards opposing countries, not even taking into account the lives of the citizens who do not represent the country as a whole. Unfortunately this was a main factor for most of Japan's innocent citizens who were brutally killed after the U.S launched a atomic bomb not once but twice making the cities today still not fully safe to live in. The U.S takes what they want without any real consequences for their actions, affecting the people around them. So today and in future eras what is stopping the U.S from repeating history? In the Mexican-American war the U.S used God as their reason for why the land was rightfully theirs and not the Spanish's. John O´Sulivan stated that ¨ texas is now ours...¨ and that ¨other nations have undertaken hostile interference against¨ them. They had been in the way of their planning, ¨checking the fulfillment of our manifest destiny to overspread the continent allotted by God for the free development of our yearly multiplying millions.¨ Manifest destiny was basically their excuse for taking the land, saying that the holy savior had told them this was HIS PLAN, but they must follow it through. The U.S not only made a absurd claim to this land but provoked and aggravated Mexico into defending her boarder. Jesus Velasco-Marquez reiterated the eventful day in which ¨on Polk’s orders, the troops commanded by General Zachary Taylor arrived at the Rio Grande, across from the city of Matamoros¨. They occupied ¨the territory in dispute and increasing the possibilities of a confrontation.¨ To Mexico the movement of the U.S army onto this land was ¨an outright attack on Mexico¨ and ¨As a consequence, the Mexican government reaffirmed the instruction to protect the border¨. In the defense of the Mexican government they were protecting the land that they had owned for many decades and the U.S just came to swoop up the land for themselves, which they were not going to let happen. What was next to come for the America's enemies was even worse than the theft of land. The theft of life. It was the year of 1945 and the U.S was at war with Japan. The U.S came apparent that the war might continue without action so they came to the decision to conclude many of the Japanese citizens to meet a swift end. Although, a majority of citizens were innocent in the eyes of the U.S, Japan as a whole was their enemy. To many of American officials, this idea was immoral and wrong, one Admiral William Leahy, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, opposed "using the bomb because it killed civilians indiscriminately." The Admiral believed that "an economic blockade and conventional bombing would convince Japan to surrender." Still, it was not enough to convince President Truman. One of Truman's advisor's, James Brynes, fully presumed that Russia would not move her troops after a concerning postwar behavior, so he thought "Russia might be more manageable if impressed by American military might, and that a demonstration of the bomb might impress Russia.” America's hands are covered in the blood of thousands by just a moment of impression for Russia. How many lives and endless acres of land will it take for someone to stand up to the corrupt country? How many more children will have to suffer the consequences for us not having the courage to use our voice, to go against the all great america? It only takes one voice of power to start a chain reaction, let us put america in it's place for once.

This post is amazing! I loved how you talked about what America doesn't want you to know, and how you connected it very well to the stuff we've been learning. To improve your blog post, you should make "In such incidents the U.S has aggravated and pushed other countries to defend..." its own paragraph. Overall, you did an amazing job!
